Just saw this thread.  Your car looks awesome.  Those scoops are just wicked.  Helps the car I think.

So is that how the factory painted the lower portion of the car with that scoop option ? Never seen one like that before, looks pretty cool.

Same question I have  :dunno:

Yes the blackout was all the way around the bottom like that. I have a spot on each side I have to paint. It is inside the door jams. I forgot to tell the paint guy to paint there to.

Looks terrific, Alan!   :grinyes:  :bananasmi

Know I know why you like them, they are subtle, but really give the car a unique look.  I really like the red and silver pinstripe on the blacked out areas.  Looks very unique!  (Did I say that already?  :clueless: )
The silver is actually fluorescent white, the red is not fluorescent.  Most cars came with the red/white combination, but there were some made with a blue/white combination.
Al:  Did you paint the tail panel and front and rear valence black as well?

:bananasmi :bananasmi :bananasmi   Bullitt99 may come by wednesday. Maybe he will give an unbias opinion on my daily driver. As far as shape of things. Remember this isnt a show car and I do drive it 100 times more then wash it.

It will be exciting just to have company. He can also say something about the factory exhaust as to how quiet it really is.  I can't wait to see him.  Gets lonely out here :2thumbs:

Hey gang, Gues what :swaying: :jumping:  :hyper: :bananasmi

Wade (Bullitt99) and his friend is over here. I actually have company here. He grabbed a drill and some bits, and mounted the barracuda emblems on my fenders. Then put the cuda 440-6 emblems on the hood, and now is drilling on the decklid to install the chrome lip. His hands are much more steady then mine. I really super feel lucky today. If Im lucky, maybe I can hook up my rear speakers, or install the door scuff plate on the passenger side. I'll get some pictures later of Wades professional work after he is through. If you wanna see some more. This gets my car even closer to being finished.

I also ordered a new stronger clutch disc and pressure plate from summit last night. It will be here thursday. So I hope to try out some heavy wide open throttle shifting to see how this car pulls through the gears. It may take me a few days on it having to do it on the ground by myself. But it is coming a;ong great.

Thanks Wade and Larry for a great day...ALAN
