My Cuda at local cruise in tonight...
« on: April 07, 2008 - 08:00:01 PM »
Our first local cruise-in was tonight in Mocksville, NC.  We have them 1st and 3rd Monday of every month.  Typically 70-200 cars show up which isn't bad for a small town.  It was cool and windy so the turnout today wasn't all that great.

But the Cuda' made it's first spring showing.  Only one other Mopar there, a 70 Superbird...  I think I'm in the middle of Chevy country

Anyway, here is a pic of my son with the Cuda'.  He has been a huge help on the project...  Go get this and that, find that nut I dropped under the car, bring me a drink, go tell your mom... you get the picture...  I couldn't have done it without him and he is learning about cars and how to work on them at the same time.

Also, for you photo buffs... why does my car look blue in pictures when it is purple in real life?

Very cool car :2thumbs: and a future football player to help you turn wrenches. Better treat him nice, he will probably tower over you in years to come. My son did. 6'3 315lb. I am glad I never had to spank him, he was a good kid. He could crush me with his power now. :smilielol:

Very nice looking Cuda. :2thumbs: Its great when the younger ones are interested in our cars. If this generation gets informed a bit maybe they will not ask me if my car is a new prototype  :smilielol: . :burnout: :burnout:

Beautiful 'Cuda.  Looks purple to me, too.   :2thumbs:

Try adjusting your monitor settings.  The older the monitor, the more off it may be.   :2thumbs:

Maybe it has to do with the lighting and auto exposure of your camera?  I know when I take pics of my car in some of the pics my blue looks almost greenish.

This is more a darker shade in real life, not so greenish...

Hey Blueglow. Grear car pics.    I had mine out for the first time at a gathering Friday night also.   Kinda makes you nervious doesn't?   I heard that there is a good cruise- in an Oakboro each month too.  That is about 70 min from me and looks about 90 from you.   We are supposed to have the Mopars at The Rock this weekend but they are calling for rain......I only live 5 miles away so I wouldn't have too far to run back to home.   Looks like the son has helped  out a lot and he looks proud.
