Anybody shave their head?
« on: April 07, 2008 - 10:39:31 PM »
Mother Nature has really been stepping up her efforts to remove my remaining hair over the last year or so. Since I don't like the "Friar Tuck" look, I'm seriously considering taking command and just shaving it all off, to deny her the pleasure. Anyone else shave their head?

I made the plunge back in October. Best thing I ever did! Got real tired of seeing the small shiny thin spot in pictures, and didn't want to be "one of those guys" so I shaved it. It has been great, never look back, do it!!

I hope I don't go bald...I've got a weird flat spot on top of me head!  :faint:  My mom said it was from me lying on my back when I was a baby or something.... not a frying pan to the head I guess.  :dunno:  :roflsmiley:

Except for a few periods every now and then, where I let the hair grow a couple of millimeters, I've shaved the head with a razor since summer 2000.
The hairline crept up too much, too fast, so I went from being a longhaired metalguy to skinhead one fine summer day.
On the plus side, showers take considerately less time.

I think I shaved 0.030" off of my 915 heads. Oh....wait a minute, I thought this thread was about heads. :roflsmiley: :roflsmiley:. Just wear a hat. I am expecting a discount from the barber any day now. I'm still waiting and have thought about starting to take some hair home after each visit. Just as a reminder of what it used to look like!! I keep it short. What's there is there. But I'm not into the "three-way weave" with several long strands of 3 foot long hair curled and  matted to the top of your head made to look like you have hair.  :scared: Keep it short or shave it!! Don't fake it or wear a silly rug!! Just my  :2cents:

Like this?  :clueless:

You could let it grow out and do a Larry...

But acutally, I found this pic and with the receding hairline I really do think he looks very distinguished and handsome.   :grinyes:  Looks like a corporate president, IMO.

Whatever ya do.........let it be natural. Either totally bald or the lil bald spot. Sorry if this offends anyone, but guys with the oh so obvious fuzzy lid, or guys with hair combed twice around the head to serve as ground cover just looks   :puke: sick dudes.

Don't be so vain, ya can't fool father time, he's got ya number.

I put a 1/4" guard on my hair trimmer and chop it off.  Of course there ain't very much to chop off.....    :smilielol:      I have been doing that for about 4-5 years now.  Easy to maintain and I won't do it any other way now....    :2thumbs:
