As I get older, I consider selling this project. What can I reasonably expect to get for this car that needs a complete restoration? It is solid with the usual convertible rust problems. It has the original numbers matching auto transmission, date correct HP 440 (needing rebuild) and possibly being the original engine. It has the correct date correct rebuilt carb and a lot of nos, repo and restored parts ready to install. It has the original fender tag and VIN plate, but I was unable to find the broadcast sheet. It is almost fully dis-assembled and partially on a rotisserie at present. I have collected a lot of parts for this car of which only 129 convertibles were produced, and this is a factory AC convertible (30-40 ?). I have all of the AC parts too. It came with vinyl insert mouldings (V5X), and I have two sets of these (hard to find) as well as the deluxe seat belts and brackets. It would come with a 318 AC parts car for the firewall sheet metal needed. I was totally committed to completing this car, but just don't know if I can finish it.
