Ok,Ok, just to feed your curiosity I will post a picture of it BEFORE it went to the shop! it is the only one I have! you will have to wait for others
ok?

It is gonna be a great little car and I hope she never wants it back because the agreement we made was that  I would sell it back to her!
it has the rare wide chrome around the nose, a 6 way adjustable seat, an original tuff wheel, a light package.ralley hood, ralley guages, the R/T side scoops on the quarters, (no it is not an original R/T car) it has the s/e chrome package for some reason and also has s/e door panels. man this car is loaded!! and it is gonna be a beauty when I get done with it!! so does this picture feed you guys need for  :useless: it is all I have for now but more will come later I promise!!
Bill
Sorry tried to post a picture but the server wont let me! and it is only 155kb in size is that too big?  but I figured I would leave the verbage so you could read about what the car had! I will try again later to post the pix! maybe the uploader is full? sorry!

   Looks nice!

Bill, is that factory body side moulding with the rear quarter scoops?  Don't usually see that!  Were they added in later or were they dealer optioned or installed from a previous owner?  :clueless:  :dunno: Thanks!

Bill, it sounds like your bodyman has had a bad experience with a complete roof replacement; frame and skin.  With the AMD parts you will only be replacing the skin, not the frame, so alignment should not be a problem.

Rachelle told me that the guy that helped her put the car together originally was a junkyard hound and he found the quarter scoops in a wrecking yard and put them on! the body side mouldings ARE factory!
in listing what the car has I forgot that it has chrome sport mirrors with the driverside being remote!! man this car is a gem!! I can't wait to get it back on the road!!!   :bananasmi

that`s lookin nice, I`m sure it will turn heads when finished
please don`t repair the roof with glass...the skins are very affordable and I don`t think replacing it will take many more hours than fixing with glass and getting it straight again...
good luck with your project  :burnout:

Thanks super blue! I like the scoops too and I LOVE the rims they  ar einkies(?) too bad they were in such bad shape they looked like they had a REAL bad sun burn and the aluminum was peeling off in 1/8" sheets. so the resto guy told me to look for some new wheels and OMG   :puke: the new rims they make today are so UGLY I can't believe it!! I went to 2 tires shops and almost got sick!!   :puke: but I did get one thing from both places a suggestion to have MY RIMS redone!!    :jumping:  ANd they both gave me the same name!! so I figured that was a good sign!! so my old rims are going to be redone (if possible) and I don't have to use any of these new terrible looking ones!! yea!!! PLUS how can you get an idea of what they are going to look like in a 15" size when all they have hanging on the wall is 22" OMG!! I am NOT going to put 22" rims on MY car! I saw a chevelle yesterday with 22" rims and little rubberbands for tires go by yesterday  :puke: I needed to find a bathroom so I could  :puke: I can't believe that guy thought it even looked nice!! it looked like sh!t  I am not even gonna think about going there!!
ok done ranting

Geeze, Bill, I hope you feel ok.  You're doing a lot of  :puke:...make sure you replenish the fluids!   :roflsmiley:  :smilielol:

Yeah, I like the old school look.  Those rims you have were ones I had in mind before but I ended up getting Keystone Klassics.  There's another member with rims similar to those but the holes were smaller, Cragar made them, again, old school I think so might be hard to find.... I just found them  Cragar Gambler wheels.  I think his name is ccrach or something close to that.

Hey thanks for the info and thanks for the suggestion to replenish my fluids!! lol but man that chevelle really looked bad!!
as far as the keystone classics go the guy that is doing my car had to scare up  4 rims/tires to send mine out and 2 of them just happened to be keystone classics and he said they are still available so I just might have to go with them if mine are not salvagable (?) we will know today I am crossing my fingers! he told me anything can be done and I said yea I don't need million dollar rims tho!! lol
