I didnt know they did painted roof colors either until I read an article about a T/A with a black painted top. Rare for sure!

Then that means that now there were 5 types of rear dutchman panel trim on e bodies.
Cuda
Challenger
Challenger SE
Cuda painted roof
Challenger painted roof

Never realized that till now. Unless Challenger painted surround roof trim is the same as Cudas?

Hey TC,

The Barracuda chrome is still the same painted roof as the vinyl roof car minus the vinyl, same thing goes for the Challenger.

So their was only three types of trim moldings for;

Barracuda - 'Cuda
Challenger
Challenger SE

But it looks shorter. doesn't go out as far onto the dutchman. Never really looked at too many paint top e-bodies to compare before either.

mopar friend bought 70 sport sat.  white hat spec.
neighbor mopar guy bought 3 Darts 2 with white painted top (68 and 69)

Here is a Challenger with a painted roof.

I thought about buying the Cherry Cheesecake car a few years ago. I love the color combo. This one was just on eBay.
