This is a special announcement for the three amigos, My California Connection. :grinyes: ;D

A big thanks to Topcat      (Mike)
                     ntstlgl1970 (Eric)
                     383efi       (Scott)

This is the trio of members who helped me locate, own, and deliver a passenger side Barracuda door within the California Bay area, which in turn became the Sacramento to Hayward area.  And from start to finish delivered to a container that is leaving California bound for Australia.   :worshippy

It all began when i asked Topcat if he could help me locate a passenger door before my car left America, after a short time he came in contact with a Farmer who had what i wanted.  After a lengthy wait for pictures from the Farmer with a delivery date that was into June sometime, Topcat told me to contact ntstlgl1970 to ask if he could help me in having the door picked up and delivered earlier.

ntstlgl1970 replied saying he had no way of helping with the delivery but did in fact have a passenger side door for sale.  He sent me pictures and has told me a price, in which i agreed.  He then looked up a quote to have the door shipped from Sacramento to Hayward, too expensive.  The guys suggested i post a need help thread hear on the board.

A brand new member stepped up to the plate (383efi) and offered to help, ntstlgl1970 and 383efi got in touch with each other to organize a time and then 383efi detoured off route to meet up with ntstlgl1970 to pick up the door, he then proceeded to deliver the door to Hayward on my behalf.  All of these guys have gone out of their way to help me out.

I am so so happy and wish that i have an equal oppertunity to help each and every one of these guys as much as they have helped me.  They are an amazing bunch of blokes and look forward to meeting and sharing quality time :drunk: when i make my way over to America.

Thanks again for everything, you are all my old mates forever........

I will be working in at least 20 states or more this year. Hop aboard Ken, I can be your designated driver for you. Saves on fuel and lodging that way too :2thumbs: Then the pub could be filled with more  Just close your eyes around the curves
