72 Barracuda in my local paper
« on: April 10, 2008 - 12:38:27 PM »
Reading the paper over lunch today, and look what I found. Doesn't sound like too good of a deal to me (although I'm not that good of a judge) but if anybody is jonesing for a 4-spd...

Plymouth 1972 Barracuda - V-8, 4-spd, 6 pk hood, rusty, no motor/trans, clear title, $3500. 910-354-9007.

It's in or around Fayetteville, NC.

Yes, you are missing the motor and tranny!!   :smilielol:

I'll agree with you that saying it's a V-8, 4-speed without them being present doesn't mean much. Witness the low price.  :naughty: Pics would be nice, but I guess they didn't post them online for a reason?   :grinyes:

It's like my favorite vendor; it's a Hemi 440-6 Barracuda, because you can put a Hemi or a 440-6 in it

I saw this car today at Mopars at the Rock. Through a string of coincidences I had spoken with him on the phone yesterday and he told me quite honestly it was a rust bucket. There is still truth in advertising

I think the car is missing more than the motor and tranny, lol.  That was a good one MEK.

If anyone has any interest, this was advertised again today with the price dropped to $2000. Same phone number as in the first post.
