Hey Kingtroll...are you out there???
« on: April 10, 2008 - 02:43:42 PM »
Kingtroll-   I love the stance and the rear tire set up on the black CUDA in your posts.  I have tried to find more pictures of your car on this site but have not had any luck.   Am I looking in the wrong spot??    What size rear tires and wheels are you using and what mods to the springs did you do to get them to tuck in the wheelwells so nice?
Thanks- MJB

The car came originally with size p245/60r15 in the front which were too fat and rubbed badly when making turns. I had those replaced with p215/65r15 and the rear has p275/60r15. Basically it has 60's on 15 inch rims.

I actually wound up replacing the rear bumper and brackets to pull the bumper closer to the body eliminating the gap like the 70 and 71 Cuda's . Thanks for the heads up though.

Thanks Kingtroll-  Beautiful car!!....but I guess the other pictures in your restoration thread look a little different to me than the one picture shown on your posts.   In that one, the tires look like they are 295's or even larger...and the rear looks like it is sitting lower with much more of the tire tucked up in the wheel well.     Maybe it's because that picture was compressed or modified somehow??
Either way- very cool ride!
thanks-MJB
