I've been wanting to buy a set for my cuda too. Who makes the best fitting subframe connectors? I do not want to cut my floor pans, or have to cut the connectors to get them to fit correctly. I put a set of weld in competition engineering subframe connectors in my 67 Camaro and they made a huge difference in the way the car handles.
Well, the best fitting ones are probably the contoured ones offered by a number of sources; XV, Auto Rust Tech, and a few others. However, because of assembly line variances, age, usage, etc, odds are they will require some degree of trimming before fitting perfectly.
The easiest ones to install are the bolt in style. Then weld the ends instead of bolting them in and they are a big improvement with no cutting, no trimming, and very little welding to ignite the interior.
