You must live in a rough neighborhood to keep a rifle handy so people won’t drool too long over that sweet looking Hemi.

After this post I had so many different things to address. In reallity, I wasn't even close. So many different issues come in to play. Like my Hemi friend Jim Van Zee said. "If it's racing or high performance, it will fight you every step of the way". Anyway, the engine is FINALLY done. Now I just have to get the rest of the Challey ready for it. Just a couple of pic's.

Dave I hope it is a smooth install for you in the Challenger. I would love to put a Hemi in my Cuda someday and hope it is a easy swap.

The pulleys are from Marsh. The Hemi is going in my Challey Carl. Don, obviously I haven't got any dyno figures yet, but some of the spec's are: 4.250 bore, 4.250 stroker crank= 482.33 c.i.. Actual compression came out to 11.04. (a little higher than I wanted) Ported and polished Mopar perf. aluminum heads with Comp Cams valve springs. Comp Cams solid roller camshaft. Lift: intake .637 exhaust .617. Crossram with 2-770 c.f.m. Holleys. Obviously a lot more to it than that, but that's the basics. Forged crank, rods and Diamond pistons. Thanks for the nice comments! Dave

Just beautiful Daves70   :2thumbs:

And how many HP do you expect from that monster and what would be the quarter miles e.t. you think.

Hope you post the dyno result soon !!
