repro trunk lids

I need a trunk lid are the repro ones a good fit any one out there fitted them before and which are the best any rust free used ones out there

Can't help you with the fit of the repop but can tell you I found a rust free beauty about a year ago for $400 well worth the price to me to keep my steel real. Post it up and I'm sure you can find the real thing.

challenger deck lids are good pieces but the Cuda you may need to go through 2 or 3 to get a descent one,. BUT that is from the same old supplier, Now that AMD is doing them with newer tooling they should be alot better. I do know that they scrapped the first shipment for poor quality. We do have a couple of lids in stock if your interested

We are running into this right now. The friends car I've been helping on is using a YO lid from a few years ago. It's not square. The OEM lid is 64 1/2 ins across the top and the bottom. The new one is 64 1/2 at the top and almost a 1/4 in wider on the  bottom. We measured the OEM one in an X pattern and it's square. Done the same to the repo one and it's not square. We are having a bad time getting it to fit right and look good.

has been th same old stamper for years and they wont change or correct the dies. Hopefully AMD's lids will be correct

Tried to fond a good NOS one-ha, one guy wanted 750 for shipping!!! Used a Goodmark lid. Bodyman had to add 1/4 to make it fit right

I've got a repro lid, it feels like its made of aluminum foil, it gives about an inch when you barely touch it.   It also sticks up in one corner.  I don't know where they got it from, it was on the car when I bought it.
