Looks like a bad day all around!
« on: April 14, 2008 - 04:57:17 PM »
The phone rang at 6:15 this morning. It was our daughter, She was cramping and bleeding. The wife took her to the emergancy room, Her husbon is in Iraq, and she miscarried. Now I just got back from my yearly checkup and I have to see a specialest 'cause my prostate isn't right. It won't be a month before I find out anything so all I can do now is play the waiting game. Thanks for listining, I feel a little better now.

Sorry about your double trouble. It seems the prostate has a design flaw that too many men know about. Is your daughter OK?

Real sorry to hear about both your problems.  :(

How's your daughter doing?  Was this her first child?  It can be psychologically traumatic for her, I would think moreso if it's her first.  My sister miscarried and felt pretty bad.  She did feel better when they did eventually have their first child.  No problems with the second child.  Hope she's ok.

Hope your prostatesituation is ok.  Hope it gets fixed up!  Keep us updated!

Not the best of news Rare, and a 6:30 phone call like that will start your day off kinda rough.   :'(
I hope your daughter fares well and I know you fine folks will be steadfast by her side through this..
As far as the prostate deal, it has potential to be bad, but the advances in treatments have come light years.  Good luck for a full recovery for the both of you....

I am so sorry to hear about your daughter. How far along was she?? I pray they allow her husband to return home to be with her. She will need her family's support to heal. Hope things are Ok for her physically. Also sorry to hear of your prostate situation. What is up with the medical world in making folks wait on something like this?? :screwy: I have a brother-in-law that had surgery for this and has done remarkable. They use robotics for the surgery now and it's VERY successful. My father-in-law (now 82) had the "seed" implanted which is less invasive than the robotic surgery and he too has done very well. I hope you don't require any invasive type treatment, but if you do, feel comforted that (as already said) modern surgery has developed some remarkable techniques with outstanding results!! You and your daughter are in my thoughts and prayers!! :angelwings:

Sorry to hear the news. My wife and I also recently had a miscarriage, so I know very well how painful that can be. My thoughts are with you and your family.
