That is far from a good way to start a day. I'm sorry to hear the news. Best luck to your daughter and hopefully he will get her husband back from the Iraq to stand by her. As for the prostate, I hope it all goes well. Todays medical knowledge is pretty advanced and they can fix almost anything.

Thanks ALL, It really helps. As for Nicole she just wanted to be left alone so Nancy took her to her place. We tried to call and she wouldn't answer the phone all day and last night. She wouldn't answer her door buzzer either. She did finally answer the phone this morning and said she was OK. We are going to go over tonight and see if she will answer the door.  As for me I have to wait for a month to see the specialest Dr., that is the first opening he had.

Definitely don't leave her alone too much for the first few days, even though she prefers to be. Aside from the physical pain she must be feeling, there's also the emotional pain. Make excuses to drop in & see how she's doing. If she doesn't want to talk, that's ok because everyone deals with that stuff differently, sit around and stare at the walls instead.

Look at the bright side, there's lots of things to be thankful for.

We lost 4 in 8 years of trying.  Everyone feels for the Mom but the Dad goes through his share.  I seen a counselor and he recommended planting trees as a way to cope.  So I have 4 trees in the backyard all named.  Is she having a D & C done?  Doctor always told us to get right back after it.   It's too bad her husband is overseas.

Good luck with the prostate as well.  I think the mortality rate has dropped significantly with technology.  My father had it 4-5 years ago, he's fine so far.

I can vouch for Cialis, it's hard to imagine life w/o all the technology advancements.

Thanks again all!!!!!!!!!  We really don't know what to do because she will not talk to us. Nancy tried to call her again last night and Nicole just yelled at her and said she does not want to talk to us. We are thinking it must be our falt this happened to her.

I would suggest slipping a note under her door but keeping the message short and sweet telling her how much you guys love her and want to help when she is ready for you to help in any way she needs.  Very delicate situation, does she know of your condition Ken..........?

Sorry Ken, what an emotional mess your daughter must be experiencing now. I doubt she is really blaming you and Nancy. Her husband is away from her, and this tragic experience sure means she needs personal emotional support. It really is a non factor, but was this her first by chance. If anything I'd say she is blaming herself and obviously without cause. This would make anyone bitter, especially a lady.

You take care too Ken, get this all checked out and cared for buddy. Please keep us updated on both situations.
