Should start soon
« on: April 14, 2008 - 10:35:08 PM »
I rebuilt the original 2 bbl and painted the manifold.  Too bad I forgot the bolts to bolt it down.  So I got it down off of the stands.  Should maybe have it home this week if I get more time.  Oh and guess what, I painted a coat of white.   :D

I do need some help of what I need to clip on the vinyl trim.  I have all the stainless trim for around the back window, and along where the bottom of the vinyl in the back would be, but I dont have any clips.  And I dont know what I need, either, or what it looks like.  Here are a few pics.   :icon16:

Cant wait to roll out in it.   :cooldancing: :working: :burnout:

I took mine over to a friend's garage today. Very carefully . After I added brake fluid. So I'm having the wheel cylinders, brake shoes, brake lines, wheel bearings, front shocks and tie rod ends replaced.  :working: I hope that's it for now. :eek4:  Have fun tonight. :burnout: :burnout:

Well I didnt get it started that night.  Had a whole slew of problems.  Did get it to go today.  It still has a bad plug or something, has a terrible miss in one or two cylinders.  Got a second coat of paint on.  Doesnt look half bad, I really like the white!   :cooldancing: :cooldancing:

Thanks guys.  Wally, the top is so rough I really dont feel like going through all of that work.   :grinno:

Mike, its definitely not Carlisle worthy.  The pictures make it look sooooo better than what it actually is.  Driver quality paint job at best.   :eek4:

Two previous owners before me must have lived on a gravel road.  There are rock chips everywhere on the sides.   :eek4:

A little tinkering and it should run nice.   :swaying:
