Good luck... I'm sure if you explain to them you're burnt out by burning the candle on both ends... they will understand.

Good Luck. I've always worked 2 jobs. Last year was the 1 st year I didn't work weekends in 15 yrs. I finally got to enjoy my Challenger. No more weekends for me. I missed holidays , family outings. I had my family pi$$ed at me for not being there on  X-mas, ect. The money was great. But sometimes there are more important things. I still work 2 jobs. I just cut back.

I don't know how your compensated at your primary job but being an employer I wonder why some of our employees take on second jobs as there are always ways for them to enhance their earnings within our business.  Talk to your boss, ask him about other opportunities that may bring more rewards, this may take little if anymore workday.

I did the same thing when I was young also. I missed out on a lot of our little girls stuff because I was working. I figured the more I worked the more the family could have. Now that I in my mid 50's I realize just what I missed out on. There is more to life than more money. Enjoy life as it passes by or pretty soon you'll be 50 something and wonder what happened.

Hey Jason,
I think most of the folks here have said it. Don't lose out on life!! And even worse.....at the cost of your health. Lack of sleep and stress can take it's toll!! I work in spurts. Sometimes crazy hours and then I get a break. I look forward to the breaks. I sat in my SUV this afternoon & realized what a flippin' idiot I am!! Tired from a long day at work, I tried to finish up some of the wiring mods for the new strereo install. I have a component system (speakers have separate woofers & tweeters with a crossover). When I had the door panel off, I sized up a nice place to put the tweeter, drilled a nice 1 3/4" hole mounted the tweeter. I was proud, it looked good. THEN when I put the door panel back on, I realized the tweeter was right smack up against the side of the dash!! What an IDIOT!! That my friend is what exhaustion will get ya!! :roflsmiley: :roflsmiley: :roflsmiley: Take it light Jason & get some rest!!!

I say go ahead and take a break.  As long as you've worked more than 2 days, you shouldn't get too much flak around here.  *wink*
