If it is legit they will probably ask you to sign a release for the use of the pictures. Same thing if you appear on a tv show etc.
Yup, just got an email today with a release form that the studio requires stating that I acknowledge and accept that Fox will use photos etc. I copied and pasted the form below. Heather and the company are legit. Thanks for the input and help people should be good. They have "rights" to use my photos for good but I'm fine with that.
I just had to read everything 3 times to make sure I wasn't signing over the keys lol. It's only material related, swcheet!! I'll keep you posted to see when this thing comes out. I'd say yes to doing some driving too........flybys on the highway, fish tails, helicopter shots. No money, I'm fine with that, just my name in the credits. Re: VANISHING POINT (“Picture”) / Related Materials
I understand that Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation and/or its affiliated entities (“Fox”) are preparing a compilation of materials relating to the above referenced Picture, including film and/or photographic materials embodying my name, voice and/or likeness, and/or materials created or made available by me, which may or may not have been used in any previously released version of the Picture, including without limitation, some or all of the following (collectively, “Related Material”):
(a) visual and/or audio interviews which include me;
(b) script pages or other literary material;
(c) filmed scenes based on such script pages or other literary material;
(d) audio commentary on the Picture;
(e) photographs, visual and/or audio recordings in which I appear or participate in connection with the Picture, including “deleted scenes,” “outtakes,” “behind the scenes,” or “making of” footage;
(f) still photographs in which I appear in connection with the Picture;
(g) photographs and/or footage which were shot by me in connection with the Picture; and/or
(h) storyboards, designs, drawings, models or other artistic materials, including advertising materials, created or used in connection with the Picture.
For good and valuable consideration, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and, if and to the extent required, in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, I hereby grant to Fox, its affiliates, successors and assigns, the right to exhibit, perform, distribute, sell, lease and exploit the Related Material separately and/or as part of a new program and/or in connection with the Picture in any and all media, whether now known or hereafter devised, in perpetuity throughout the universe. Nothing contained herein shall obligate Fox to use any or all of the Related Material in any program or in connection with the exploitation of the Picture. This permission is given to Fox with the knowledge that Fox will rely thereon at substantial cost to Fox and I agree not to assert any claim of any nature against Fox based on its use of the Related Material as set forth herein.
