TC - sorry to hear that. What were you doing?
Take a few days and enjoy life a little bit before you get back at it. Good luck fishing and with the job search.
Mfg. sales rep.
What I did was that I would track down buyers in major corporations. My targets were the electrical product related purchasing managers for companies throughout North America. Sometimes it would take me close to year to finally make contact with the right one. Build business relations, send our company info to them then follow up later and try to get a quote. Were talking really big quotes into the millions. The purchasing manager would send me blueprints and then I had to translate specs onto a excel spreadsheet to get costs. Then send them the quote back and try to haggle out a deal.
My now ex boss will find out what he lost. I was good at getting buyers found and getting quotes from. In fact, right before he fired me, I got 2 big quotes in 10 minutes prior. Everyone around me knew my day was coming and of course, I did too.
It was meant to be. I'm sure of it.
I'm ready to relocate if something comes along that fits.
If anyone needs a hunter phone salesman with tech, look me up.
