Sorry to hear it. Here is hoping you find a better job soon. Nothing takes the wind out of you worse than having obligations and losing your job.  :walkaway:

Hey TC,

Maybe you could combine your Fishing with a job and do charted fishing tours in the Bay area  :2thumbs: :bananasmi

Well, I feel you pain. Literally . I have to say, though, that even though I'm going on three months without employment, I do think something is going to work out, and I'd say the same for you.

Yeah, I thought about you right after knowing that were in the same boat together. And I think a few others here besides. I'm not used to being idle looking for something to do.

Predicictions:
Drueling on parts I want to buy on e bag but can't.
From steaks to hamburger.
0 percent balance transfers.
Looking for something to clean and/or repair.
Surfing for jobs instead of Mopars.
Selling junk for pocket change.

We've all been there sometime before.
Something eventually comes along. It's the wait that is frustrating.

Do you like farmed raised because you can't go after them this year. They shut down the season the entire west coast 'cept Seattle.

That`s too bad as I`m still waiting for mine!  :poopoke:

TC,

I'm really sorry to hear about this. At least the frustration stress from work has been removed.

I hope all works out for you very soon for you and the family.

Thanks everyone. I'm already firing resumes out.

Spoke to my admin assistant tonight. She said. "You got out at the right time." She knew the situation wasn't happening there. She said she'd be a reference so that''s a help.

I'll miss her the most there. She was fun to work with.

If you need training for a new career in carpentry or drywall, I can give you some free training, room & board, all you have do do is get here.

As far as fishing goes, you are on your own though.

Best of luck TC!

Barry I'd love to but I would need to acquire the taste of Penguin. I guess I could learn to smoke it.

Don't feel bad, things are tough all over.I'm a MFG Rep as well, for 23 different manufacturers.I sell to wholesalers, anyway, got an email from the owner of our company monday.Pay reduction because commission dollars are way off with the slow housing market.I took a 10k a year pay decrease, everyone in our company got a reductions as well.I told him i wasn't complaining since it wasn't a pink slip and i can manage, lol.I just changed my SEP(retirement) from 15% to 5% and that should cover the loss. Not good, not sure if i will get another decrease if the economy doesn't get better.Atleast he did tell me i would be one of the last to go,if that ever happened, been with them since 94.

Good luck finding a new job, prayers are with you.If your looking to relocate to calif, dont bother, the economy here is crap as well.
