Well I only lasted less than 24 hours it looks like...If I accept and looks like I probably will.

This is the e mail I got today.

We also have reviewed your terms for employment, and are willing to accept
the first option of compensation proposal with $________-full time, Salary
position, no benefits, overtime would be included when required.

As for the other terms of employment, some of them are a little different
from the current management rules.   Since you mentioned at the
email these are open to be discussed, so let us discuss further one by one
when we meet.

Please confirm with email for Friday appointment.

I'm a vet so benefits are no biggie for me. I have health ins. thru VA.
They still think I'm employed so I get 2 weeks to show up to the new job.

Pretty much the same thing I was doing but maybe a little harder now.
I'll be hunting buyers again but this time I have to translate spec data from wire harness blue prints.

Pay is about 10K better than where I was at. I won't get rich here, but at least I won't be poor either.

 Oh this is good it's always much easier to write something positive than not...so am happy to hear that your unemployment was short lived...always seems too that other job choices show up when we are employed

Good luck to you with this one...at least it is something for the here and now

This was a job I had interviewed about 2 weeks ago before I was let go. I really didn't think they would get back to me. If I can hammer out the rest of the dsetails with them tomorrow, I'll put in a 2 week notice to begin since I won't get any time off again for quite a while.

Then the Cuda will get some major hours done on it.

Your timing is perfect,if you would have applied when you didnt have a job, they probably would have offered much less.

Good for you, TC.  I hope it all works out for you the way it seems to be working out for Jeff.  And no commute - in the Bay Area, that's no small thing.

A potential $10k raise sounds like more parts for the 'Cuda.  :money:
