Power steering pump mounting bolts
« on: April 18, 2008 - 06:52:13 PM »
I just bought new mounting brackets for my saginaw power steering pump and two of the bolts that came with it look like the ones on the back and they look adjustable.  Is this so?  The old ones are tight against the back of the pump. Do they penetrate the reservoir or can I just screw them out for adjustment?  They look like a bolt only with threads on both sides.

I thought they were studs?

I have studs and nuts on mine.

the rear bolts have to be tight or the reservoir will leak

Thanks.  Glad I didn't take them out.
