Just brought to memory, back in the late '70's when I was restoring a 1926 Dodge 4 I was a member of a club called the Vintage Drivers Club Vic., anyway there was a story going on about a 1914 model 'T'.
It went that an out back farmer in West Australia ordered a brand new 'T' from ford USA. The car arrived many months later in a big wooden box, unfortunatly the farmer died so the box was delivered to his farm and put in the barn. It remained there un molested until the farm was sold and the family were moving out all their bits and pieces and un earthed this box. It was supposed to have been on a world wide auction but it was rumored that ford bought it back for an undisclosed sum...
Anyway thats what I remember, would have been good if true.
