I guess I will just bite the bullit and pull my trans out when I get my break from work. I hate to lay on my back and look up being sideways and trying to do the job. I am pricing 4 post lifts now :money: but wont have one in time to do this job.  The smaller items on my list will come one at a time.

Mid may, I know you have a bad back so I wouldnt ask you to do anything that might injure you. I am hoping to go see oldschool run on Pinks too. I think he said may 9, but I would leave the motel and drive straight over there.

Al, if I'm ever near your neighborhood you can have my work for free. I do travel but have no plans to be in your area any time soon. I'll let you know if that changes.

With the mirror do you need the passengers side ? I know I have drivers 70 but I believe its chrome. Actually I think I have two. I may have a passenger’s side but I'll need to take a good look. Worse case you can have my drivers side and maybe you can trade it up for the one you need. Heck I'll even pay the shipping.

Good Luck at PINKS!!! They were just in Gainsville Florida this weekend. My fiancee went to watch it. He said it was neat.

Alan, The back is getting better, I have been able to do some light work & not aggravate it soooo hopefully in a couple of weeks I'll be back capable of heavier labor.  I'll keep up with you & get some of this done in May.   We need you-all at the TVMC show June 14!

I have shipped a dozen pairs of 71/74 mirrors to our members here. I have been trying to get a 70 at a low cost for 2 yrs now. 5 minutes ago I bid on a 70 used mirror and was still beat out at 155 bucks. Way to high for a used mirror. I will keep searching :violin:

Yeah those 70 mirrors are a rare breed. Have you thought of just buying a 70 base and putting the rest on that? Might be a cheaper alternative to buying a used one of questionable quality. Her is hoping that you find someone to help you do the work your are needing. I am in the same boat as you Al, not many Mopar buddies and no close ones within a 4 hour drive for me  :(
Sometimes you just need someone to talk to, to help motivate, to reminisce with about days gone by or just to share hope for the future.
