Help wanted
« on: April 19, 2008 - 05:53:56 PM »
I'll pay someone 16 bucks an hr to come and help me for a few days on a weekend to do some small hot rod work with me. I will supply the tools, food, drink, shop, and whatever you may need. No hard work involed. Just hate to do things alone

My want list
1) install my rear sway bar
2) finish bolting up my new exhaust and tips
3) hook up the rear speakers to the fader switch
4) pull trans, re seal, turn flywheel
5) install some soft seal window rubber and door jam seals
6)put rear bumprettes on
7) dye my seat belts
8) Hook up washer squirter hoses
9) Help inventory parts to send to members
10) install some access panels under the car and on the fender walls
11) install 440-6 emblems on hood
12) install barracuda emblems on fenders
13) install decklid and quarter chrome
14) hope to install the passenger door mirror what ever member chimes in and says they have one for me

And to have a good time

Yep, sounds like a fun weekend, workin alone does get tiresome, i've got a couple of fairly local mopar guys who stop by every now & then, makes the work feel like a hobby again. Wish I was closer too I'd forgo the pay just for the fun of sorting out your stash, might just buy a bunch of it for my cars!
Did that part I sent you arrive, i think it should have been there after your last road trip? Rich.

Hi Alan,

If i was in the neighbor hood.  I would accept the food and drink but also ask for a bed while i was their. Would be great just to hang out :2thumbs: i like helping freinds work on their cars, sometimes it is a downfall.  How do you charge good freinds. :faint:

Damn, i wish i were closer...

Hey Al, are 70 passenger mirrors the same as 71-74? i know that the 70 driver mirror is a little pointier, ive noticed that all the passenger mirrors i see (including my car) are the pointier style...

Hi Wally,

The 70 mirror is shorter in height but the 70 sport mirrors off A-body Mopars are the same, only the stalk is the difference between the E-body and A-body for 70. :2thumbs:

I have shipped a dozen pairs of 71/74 mirrors to our members here. I have been trying to get a 70 at a low cost for 2 yrs now. 5 minutes ago I bid on a 70 used mirror and was still beat out at 155 bucks. Way to high for a used mirror. I will keep searching :violin:
