The first "official" garage day!
« on: April 20, 2008 - 12:01:57 AM »
Finally it's warrmed up enough to get out in the garage!  :bananasmi  And try to remember where I left off on things. My first official act was to ram my head into NIKKI'S hood latch!! Do only Chally owners get to enjoy this?? Man that hurts!!!  :crying: But now I know spring is finally here!    :burnout:

I got the hood latch right in the melon today too.  I don't think anyone outside our northern climate would call it "warm" today, but at least I didn't need gloves!!  I also love the first Garage day, and if I get the springs swapped out early in the morning I might actually get some driving time this weekend too.

The two most dangerous things in the world are hood latches and bumper brackets. I know those bumper bracket's owe me a few new pairs of jeans. How many times until I learn ???

No, almost every time widing'cuda places his head under the hood when helping me with something, he appearently tries to commit suicide by impaling the hood latch through the back of his head. I've been thinking of making some leatherclad padding to slip on the hood latch to avoid injuries. He really does it that often, poor soul!

Saturday I got the Road Runner going. I drove from the back garage into the front one. Today i put it back in the rear garage. Does that count as a cruise?  :roflsmiley:

I took NIKKI out today!!!  :bananasmi  :cooldancing:  :woohoo: Just to the swap meet but it was a nice day and a good of reason as any. Saw lots of folks that I haven't seen since last year. And meet a new guy who was driving a 70 cuda w a 440/4sp! He saw NIKKI and came over to check it out!  Also did my share of promoting C-C.com... I had this calendar to show off!!!! Lots of great feedback!  :2thumbs:

Now to get back to workin on her!
