70 V Code R/T
« on: April 20, 2008 - 12:00:27 PM »
Some of you know that I've been helping my friend on his 70 R/T Challenger. It's a true V code 440 six pak with an automatic. This is the one that has the open 323 83/4 rear coded on the build sheet. We did all the sheet metal work about 6 years ago and then he put the project on hold. In November 07 he decided it was time to get some paint on it. Well after doing the body work all winter it finally did last Friday. I talked to Bruces wife yesterday and she told me he spent most of Saturday sitting on a chair just looking at it.   :roflsmiley:
So what do ya think?

Orange is and always has been my favorite color. In the understatement of the year, "Now that is nice".

Thanks folks. The color is the oem EK2. The car has a black vinyl top with the black hood treatment also. It has a black interior to. I'm thinking it will be striking when all done.

He's pretty excited now. I really wanted to paint the engine bay at the same time. The problem is the guy thats supposed to rip out the front end keeps blowing Bruce off. He is supposed to come over next week so we will see. I would of waited but after Bruce bought the paint he's been chomping at the bit to get some color on it.
