I don't think anyone has reproed them yet.  The only ones I have ever seen for sale have been on ebay.

I'm sorry but what exactly are you talking about?  Could you please post a picture or a brief description?  I'm changing a lot of stuff on my car and might maybe have something, but I'm not sure what to look for.

It's not a real popular option, but I put them on my car. They run from the top of the door to the bottom. Notice it to the right of my door handle.

It was a dealer installed accessory back in the day. You would probably need to find an NOS set. Never much cared for them myself as they greatly exagerate the door opening line rather than it blending in to the body. Each to their own though.

That's what I thought.  I had a set of black vinyl (?) ones on mine before we tore it apart for the body and paint.  Is that what you are looking for, or are looking for the chrome ones like on MEK's?  Here's a picture of what I had before.  If you're interested let me know, and I'll see if they are still around.

They were a factory option actually. They were coded on the broadcast sheets - M05

There is a photo of a T/A that came with them at this link;

But were they installed at the factory, or at the dealer?

K,
I know I installed a lot of these on late 70's through to the early 90's at the dealership.

They, like most parts, were available over the counter.

If a car has M05 on the broadcast sheet, they would have been installed at the plant.

I think they look pretty good on my 'vert in that they go along with all the other optional trim and dress up items.  But on an R/T or T/A they sort of mar the lean mean racing look.  :2cents:
