News:
The movie comes at 9 pm. I saw the previews and spotted a 72-74 Blue Cuda. It's called Finish Line. It's not the same movie Finish Line with the yellow Superbird. This is a new movie made for Spike.
Well...how was it?
Pretty bad. hero was a "could have been" ex racer. Gets mixed up with Scott Baio as a smuggler and the love interest is Baio's character's daughter. Hero's big time to show his racing prowess comes in a parking lot autocross with Honda prelude rejects from the Fast and the Furious. The girl is hot but not believeable as she looks to be mid twenties and Scott Baio is late 40's? I kept waiting for the twist where she turned out to be Baio's wife or something instead of the daughter. Never saw the cuda, but I was doing more surfing and work on the computer than actually watching the movie. Not even worth taping as a bad car movie.
