Challenger Hood Trim ???
« on: April 22, 2008 - 11:45:47 PM »
Does this look like a good deal or what ??? Do you think that they can be restored ??? Have always liked the thick hood surround trim.

Anything can be restored and the price seems cheap considering what I have been hearing lately, 1200, 2100 and 3500 a set. King of Trim and Tuff Wheel Restorations are a couple of places that can probably restore it.

I have no clue what it would cost to have those re-chromed, but that price looks mighty tempting. I'm sure it will go up in the next couple of days though.  :grinyes:

Take the pictures and shoot the King of Trim http://www.kingoftrim.com/ an e-mail with the pictures attached. They should be able to give you a ballpark on what the cost would be.If I remember right I had all of my trim done for my 70 for around 1300.00

LOL - Thats what happens when you make certain assumptions. Vermont posted the question of whether or not I found them. So I signed on expecting him to have posted where I could get them.

SORRY HEMIKEN, I would like to retract my "Thanks Vermont" and have it transferred to Hemiken. Shame on you Vermont for taking the credit on this one, where all you did was ask a question that in turn prompted Hemiken to respond with the answer. Hey on second thought "Thanks Vermont".
