Driving my 72 Challenger 250 miles to my folks for Christmas. While up there I will be getting some work done on it, like new rotors and wheel bearings, probably install the quartz conversion clock, a new speedometer needle. I am hoping my headers show up so I can install them, my new mini starter, convert back to power steering, rebuilt the steering coupler and reinforce the k member. If I have time I will construct a set of subframe connectors and torque boxes and install them as well. Busy weekend I am sure. I actually got to drive mine this week as well. Not because of the weather.  It's always nice in San Diego.  It actually ran for a few days!  Until the throttle cable busted and my harmonic balancer went wobbly and I noticed my fan clutch is going out.  Just when you think you have run out of stuff that could go wrong....

I'm taking the weekend off to ride my motorcycle and watch some football.  Next weekend I'll install a new throttle cable, fan clutch and take a look at my wobbly harmonic balancer.

looks like its time to rebuild my front end.  :working:

went driving around today, and noticed at slow speed, like rolling up to a light, the front end wags back and forth a bit, not severe, but you see it.
and sometimes, when cruising 40 - 50 the front end vibrates slightly. i can feel it in the wheel slightly as well. looks like i got a " shaker" hood, 'cept its all of it! its more prominent on the drivers side as far as i can tell. tires arent wearing wierd either.
im leaning toward ball joints. bearings are new, and i did new inner and outer ends.
i dont have a front sway bar, and i want to put one on., but then i have to find some lowers c/arms to take one right?

woo hoo, lets get this year rolling!!
