Pulled the 8-3/4 and replacing with a little 7-1/4 on the parts car. More to follow on where the 8-3/4 is headed......

I'm still amazed how easy it is to unbolt southern hardware.

That 7-1/4 looks like it would shear in half with anything close to 500hp.

I feel a little underachieving about now with all the pictures of cars on stands (or stumps ), and all I've done this weekend is continue to gather parts to try to get my Barracuda solidly on the road.  I knew it would need some work when I bought it but just like every project I've ever started, its turning out to involve a little more than I originally figured on.  I've got a few days off scheduled in a couple of weeks so I'm hoping to get a little more active then.  This was the first decent weekend around here in a while so I spent the day yesterday working in the yard and today recovering!!

Stripping paint off the upper header panel and lower valence.
Was doing it today and then it started raining heavy forcing me to shut down.

How much for shipping to 55605? I could make a good gun stock out of that jack stand!

Would you mind saving me a piece about the size of a Fender Tele???  That would be stunning!  Seriously, if you shape some handles out of it I would love to see them when your done.
