I installed a rad. overflow tank (no more peeing at every cruise in for me).....and also welded up the inner fender-to-shocker tub brace in my passenger front wheel well

did it turn out nice?  burning holes or paint?

A big thanks to Nicks classic parts for getting me the brand new TTi 1 7/8 small block headers, they are great fitting piece and are worth every penny :2cents:
So I got the headers installed, steering coupler, axles and rear drag radials on and changed the oil and filter. Now its time to reroute the wires and other small things and build the new exhaust.

Man that is looking sharp.  I'm taking note of those headers, I'll be needing some soon.

Thanks guys
The interior is nearing completion as is the hood and scoop that I have been working on.
The 3 clamps came about because at 7200 rpms the fan decided to give out and wiped out my good radiator,so with this intake and radiator I needed to make a slight sweep and made it happen with a piece of copper pipe inside the hose(hope to change soon)
The headers are TTi's new ones that most haven't even heard of yet(no step headers here)And if you follow there directions they go right in.When I put the driverside in from the bottom,I laid there in aw thinking something has to be wrong because it went right in without the use of pry bars and vulger language
Heres a couple of pics Vinb

I'm a big fan of TTi's just for the reason you mentioned  :2thumbs:

Weather is looking good here so I'm taking the 71 to a big show on Sunday  :cooldancing:  Should be fun  :woo:

That's way cool for a street machine.

What hood did you say your going with?

If it's the SuperStock hood they do make them in several heights, If so don't go with the tall one, it may not look right overall with a small tire on the back..

Can't wait to see it completed....

Did bodywork all day yesterday and today. I was covered in bondo dust. I must've looked like a Zombie at the end of the day.

This weekend (and Friday), I had an inspection carried out, and a price negotiated (via proxy) on my dream car!

All I have to do is wait for the funds to transfer, and then for the hand-over to take place and it will be mine  :cooldancing:

 :woohoo:
