Degreased and steamed the floor's underside + engine and wheel housings. Not been done properly since 2006 now.

Here I've finished the rear axle and trunk underside, and degreaser is working in the front area.

Tight in here as I didn't remove the wheels.

The photographer had a busy time :)

Finished the work with steaming away all loose grit around the wheel lips, bumpers and lower fenders.

The next day the engine bay got degresed and steamed, and the car washed with microfiber gloves and two buckets of water. And grit guards of course. :)

Tomorrow is MoPaRs at Bandimere dragway. I'll be there early for the swap. Might run the 'cuda down for the first time. She's not completely ready but I'd wood the biatch!       Been cruisin' around all over the place. Got into it with a cobra last night. We didn't get to finish it. My girl said we had him. It was close.   :horse: R/T

Dug my convertible out of the garage, where it has been hibernating since November.  Started right up after splashing a little 2 cycle gas into the carb.
I changed the oil and drove it over to the local cruise this evening.  It was nice to have it out for a spin!  :burnout:

Degreased and painted my A-Body disk brake spindles and 11 3/4 disk brake brackets and dust shields.  I also installed my new front and rear torque boxes.  I got them from www.sheetmetalstuff.com they require a small amount of fabrication and some hammering to get them fit, but they went in pretty easy. I also installed my shackle brace's.  My “laying on back” welding skills on the other hand, needs some practice.

Next week I get to put in my frame connectors... :jumping:

Here are some photos as I know you like them.

I spent Memorial Day cruising the coast from Oceanside to Del Mar and back.  Spotted a few bikinis and ate a hamburger along the way.

I think I'll replace some undercoating that I cleaned off that was soaked with oil (nice and clean/no rust under). I'll then work on taping off the body and give the chassis a coat of semi-black before I put the suspension back in.

Picked up that car last weekend from the garage.  Noticed the mechanic had put the air cleaner on backwards (no problem).  I didn't notice at the time that he had put the valve covers on backwards too.  Grrr. So, I am switching them back.

Finally had the small exhaust tips replaced by correct ones.  These came from Dave at Roseville.
The muffler shop charged $95 for the remove/replace,  I called around and that was the cheapest price.
Oh, and a much needed oil change.

Last weekend I installed driver's mirror, wipers, washer bottle, new heater core and heater box and a few other little things I can't remember. Continued slicing up the 74 Chally.

Yesterday, R&R on the trans pan gasket AGAIN (paid someone to do it last time and it LEAKED). I'll start a thread with pics for the fancy molded pan gasket. Despite what wages says, I DID get fluid dripping down my arm.

Front brake job on the 99 Ram 1500, too.

Took a break from dissecting the 74.
