Taped off bottom of the body, did some undercoating repair and killed a few areas of very minor surface rust. All of this is in preparation for painting the chassis black. Won't get that done this weekend. Maybe some night this week.

Last weekend I installed driver's mirror, wipers, washer bottle, new heater core and heater box and a few other little things I can't remember. Continued slicing up the 74 Chally.

Yesterday, R&R on the trans pan gasket AGAIN (paid someone to do it last time and it LEAKED). I'll start a thread with pics for the fancy molded pan gasket. Despite what wages says, I DID get fluid dripping down my arm.

Front brake job on the 99 Ram 1500, too.

Took a break from dissecting the 74.
good for you !! wages is a retard anyway !

well my quick and painless new tires purchase and alignment wasn't so quick and easy ...

when they lifted the car .... ball joints upper and lower looked like crap... so we have to switch those out and the gear box was EXTREMELY loose ....

At the show last weekend I bought a set of wide rocker moldings for the T/A. I might get the nerve up to start drilling holes and installing them.   :scared:   I was thinking about waiting till after Carlisle in case I mess up but I've been itching to get them on.

I installed the lokar throttle cable I got from sledgehammer, took a bit of work but was well worth it.I also installed the 4:10 suregip unit but ran out of gear oil before I got it topped off.Was a good night in the garage tonight and now I am off to bed.

No I don't think they were even available. I put on the wheel well moldings on right away when I got the car done. I've been kicking around the idea of adding the wide moldings and decided after 20 years it's about time. I just like the way they add to the cars looks. I don't plan on ever selling the car so I could care less if someone would think it woud hurt the value. When I die and Nancy sells it I won't care then also.  :smilielol:

Got home from work and finished topping off the rear and took it out for a test drive.Everything felt great so I decided to stand on it a little bit and BOOOM($&*!$$*&^%$#@),now the trans is sitting on the floor and I am waiting to hear back from my tranny guy.
