I drove it to work on Friday then to Cruisin Grand in Escondido friday night.  Drove it around all day then topped off my oil.  It's burning about a qt per 500 miles.  Then I got some screws and installed the cowl vent screens I picked up off ebay a while back.  Not exactly on the level of some of you guys replacing major structural parts of the unibody or doing machine work on hemis but I did get a little dirty.  :)

This thing burns so much oil and smells so bad I think it's nickname is going to be deepwater horizon.  If the hole in the ozone layer shifts over San Diego, I'll know why.

The Challenger project is on hold for now because everything for this car is going to be real expensive....... All alum Keith Black, 16 plug, EFI, big inch twin turbo HEMI is going to take awhile....

This afternoon, I unburied my Challenger.  I am actually going to start working on it this weekend   First step will be to install the new torsion bars so that it actually sits level.  Then, I need to weld a small patch in the driver side lower quarter.  After that, go to town on the body.  I should be able to have it ready for paint within about a week or so (unless another paying customer brings in a car).

I also started to wet-sand and buff the 72 Charger SE that I and doing for a customer.  :cooldancing:
