Finally after 5 weeks the car is back together.  Fired up the freshened engine last night, took the rear for it's first 20 minute drive, Next is 100 miles taking it easy.  By this weeknd it will be  :burnout:   :burnout:   :burnout:  to make up for down time.

Made an angeled fitting for the fuel line to the carb. Although not for a E-body but for a A-body
Started with a brass piece as the one to the right and the result is the fitting to the left.

Have been surching for such a fitting on the net but came up with nothing

These last days, I've installed new heads, did a oil system flush (Complete oil system flush) changed oil, oil filter, spark plugs, and installed new plug wires.
New cam, intake, and carb are to be installed too.  :bigshades:

Got my seats back from reupholstering. Reassembled and Installed them. Replaced the throttle cable as it stuck on half open throttle  :scared:
And I fixed a small short in the turn signal controller. No more smoke from the colum  :bigshades:

Well if I could get home this weekend, I had a big box delivered from inline tube. It has everything in it to install the complete 3/8ths fuel line system in my car. I also have a 180 thermostat and gasket to install since the housing is seeping, and a valve cover gasket set to stop the oil leak on my passenger side. I also got my 10 spline big ujoint yoke to install on my 355's so I can make another gear swap.

But no, I am on my way to Michigan today

Going to a local cruise night tonight and then to Marcus Dairy, a local crusie/car show tomorrow night if the weather holds out.  The car isn't a show winner but it's still fun to get out and drive and it still gets a lot of thumbs up  :2thumbs: from onlookers.  Out driving is better than sitting in the garage looking at it.   :burnout:

I'm replacing most of the bushings with new ones from Energy Suspension and rebuilding my brake calipers.  Pretty slow going since I'm learning as I go  :thinkerg:  When I get lost expect to hear about it

Fixing (replacing) a pin hole leaking heater hose, and cleaning sticky stuff off everywhere it leaked!  :grinyes:

Alan, did the inline tube 3/8 setup. And the fuel seperator too! Mine when together with very minimal tweaking! Should be a breeze!  :2thumbs:
