No Cash right now to buy new fenders so I started smashing metal again.I know that fixing these is almost a lost cause but I just can't help myself.I would still need to find some donor fenders for the inner structure in the dog leg,and the Cuda and challenger are different.Would you take the time to repair these?or would you opt for a new set of repops?

Went to a Mopar only show at a small dodge Dealer in Hatboro, PA.  Free food and drinks.   Of course I drive by today the day after the show and what do I see sitting out front?  You guessed it.  An orange 09 Chally. Arrived a day late.

Here's some pix a friend took.

I'll be working on the Cuda a little bit....gotta fix some odds and ends like tightening the speedo cable, arranging my hood pins correctly, fixing my ground in the front of the car and wiring & labeling my new switch so I don't have to take it out when I want to add a device to it.  Should be fun....not a lot of hard work, but some fun tedious stuff.   :2thumbs:

Swappd in some Crane Adjustable rockers, MSD ignition due to a failed Summit brand ignition.  Long term I will go back to standard chrysler ignition.... :dunno:  Just wanted a rev limiter.  Maybe start cleaning it for Carlisle.

Doug, if thats the only part of the fenders that needs work, i would fix them. I had to do that to both of my fenders and they havent popped yet. Not sure if the lower frame work is similar to Challenger or not..... I know i need a passenger fender b/c my nose is bubbling big time.

I may mess with my car a little this weekend, otherwise I'll just be getting excited for Carlisle. Im off Friday and I'll be strapped with Cash and parts to sell....  :jumping:

Just installed a new battery and noticed a raw fuel smell under the hood.  REMINDER!!!!  Check those fuel lines.  Would not have noticed if it wasn't for the battery.  Coud have been a bad situation.  I know most know to do this on a regular basis and so should I but I didn't so just a reminder.  Additionally I'll be watching the weather here in CT.  It doesn't look promising for a cruise but several are scheduled locally.  Hope all have a safe and Happy Independence Day!!!!   :wavingflag:

I'm just finishing up details for the 400 mile trip up to Carlisle. All I am waiting on now is my new radiator. It better be here by the 7th as promised or I'll be.... :swear: :pullinghair: :stomp:. 500stroker, thanks for those pictures from the show. I LOVE the Mopar Collector Guide '67 Barracuda. That is an awesome ride, inside & out!!  :2thumbs:

Not an "E" body, but a Cuda just the same...     :grinyes:
Over the last few weekends I have completed some major engine surgery, replaced the front wheels, replaced the water pump, serviced the batteries, repaired a faulty fuel pressure regulator, rebuilt both Holley 750's, and tried to keep it clean while doing all that stuff.....lol     :working:
Now I am ready for some serious street prowling.....     :burnout:
