used my new contour hd and experimenting. The sound is horrible. I have to troubleshoot that, but heres a link to it:

nice little toy that should allow me to relive some autocross events, though its very finicky trying to get it to play nice. Ive spent hours trying to set it up, and its a PITA. Hopefully I'll get the bugs worked out.

Today I installed a Bouchillon kickdown linkage.  That went pretty good.  Man it's a major pain in the rear working under the car on my back up under the transmission like that.  I envy you guys with lifts.  I got all the stuff underneath taken care of and need to take a bracket over to my shop to cut it down for the linkage assembly up top.  That sure is an improvement over the Lokar setup I had before and tried unsuccessfully to make work.

I had to massage the floor pan quite a bit to clear the bracket.  The rest went pretty easy.

Had it out a few times over the weekend.  Was cold but sunny.

Also hung some garage art near my car.  Found a poster I got here some time ago now when t was Red, White and Blue!

what ive BEEN doing with my 71 Challenger

put on new tie rods, inner arm

got the gearbox rebuild...

tightened the screw to the turn signal

putting on a new pitman arm after ordering a 71 pitman arm which was the wrong diameter... for some reason autozone computers has 71 pitman arms listed as 73 and 74 arms... ended up returning it and buying a 1970 pitman arm... should fit

hopefully allignment tomorrow aswell

then cruise all week

Was going to take the Challenger out for a ride today (New Years Day) after it warmed up a bit.  But alas, we had a foggy cold new years eve which left the roads slippery.  At 7:00 am I just watched the salt truck go by.
So I guess I'll be stuck in the garage/driveway until spring showers arrive in a few months.

Spent 2 days cutting, drilling, fitting and welding the inr & otr whlhses, lock pillar and lft 1/4 for the final mock up as the rear end comes together. If it weren't for this site and the exploits of my fellow enthusiasts, the old gal would still be sitting there waiting. One day, God willing, I'll drive this SOB and all thanks to the brave ones who have gone on, before! Ian
