Went to the Bob's Big Boy cruise-in Friday night.  Tons of people, lots of fun.

Put a fan shroud on the Cuda, moved my radiator overflow to the inner wheel well, tested a ground strap on the fuel sender...

Found out my radiator cap (the kind with the thermometer on it) was splitting at the seam and leaking...

Looking at Ansen Sprints to replace my Weld Wheels...

:)  basically having fun being a Mopar guy.

Took the Challenger to town the other day and the oldest grandaughter was in the back seat.......she said something is falling down..........Yes.....part of the headliner  (SE overhead) had came loose and was drooping on the drivers side.   Guess this isn't too bad since its been since about 2007 since I put it on........so this afternoon took all the trim off, shoulder harness hooks, sunvisors, rear view mirror... rear window trim, etc. Peeled the loose off the board, resprayed and let it set.   Then the reinstall............I don't know how I found all the little holes before to attach the trim cause it was not too easy today even with the original holes there........anyway....it sure was hot but it is done..............

The 3 of us installed re-adjusted the headliner and installed the carpet.

Painted the dash parts with the OEM code paint.
I'm not satisfied with the hue and matte. Back to the drawing board on that.

Installed my headliner too!  Had trouble figuring out the sail panels though. (apparently they are not needed, wish I would have known that before I started)  Turned out looking ok in the rear, the rest looks great!

My buddy is bringing me the tires I bought at Carlisle.  I hope to get them on & get the car back on the road.  Maybe go to a cruise-in Friday night.

Spray gunned the dash and parts that are on it. It's a tough match. I think it may be close.

The cool thing today was I picked up some black RIT black dye from a store called Michael's.
first I cleaned up one of my seat belts that was faded.

How I did it:
Boil a half gallon of water in a Pot. Add white vinegar. About a 1/4 cup.
Pour that into a plastic bucket you won't care about the dye changing it.

Get a wood paint stick.Half the bag of dye pored in. Stir it up and dip the seat belt in.
Stir it around for 5 or so minutes.

Pull it out and wash with hot water from tap.
Pull out, re wash again then let air dry.
Black as night!

Once water is clear, add detergent. Stir again.

Now that the one passed the ginea pig test, I'm going to do all of them.
They look brand new. I'm lucky to have such a good set to begin with.

The CPW mopar club I'm in took a tour of Milodon here in Simi Valley on Saturday.  Extremely interesting and underscores how they are committed to quality.
It's made in the USA!

Also took a tour of PureVision (Steve Strope's shop in Simi too).  Lots of great cars being built... and of all the cars, Joe Rogan's Sick Fish was there to be worked on.
Two episodes of "Rides" in one tour!
