One from a 440 engine will give you more  hood clearance than one from a 383 . FYI

That one is fiberglass so it can easily be trimmed to what you need. I have the same idea but for a T/A hood from here.

Hi Y'all,

This weekend, new lower ball joints Moog, new front shocks KYB KG4510s, new front Cooper Cobra tyres 235 60 R15s, Balance and alignment.  Found that the old shocks that came with the car were wrong. 1in too short, so both are stuffed and leaking. Found out too late to save the tyres from being chewed out.  :P  But, the end result will be hugely different and better all round!  At least I'll be able to get beyond 60mph without my teeth chattering.

Install a few parts I got at Carlisle and maybe this new to me rad. It's 4" thich and 2" wider than the rad I have in now.  I'm getting tired of overheating at border crossings and other long waits in traffic.
I raided a buddys nascar parts stach !

Buying a BPE kickdown linkage so I can finish the neverending intake manifold installation.  Who knew that installing an intake manifold wasn't just be installing an intake manifold?!  :drunk:
