I'm actually going to strip and re-paint it some other color in the next year or so because black is a pain in the a$$ to keep clean.

You don't know how many people have told me the same thing.

It will be interesting to see what you end up going with color-wise.

FWIW The Motorsports Reunion is extremely cool, watching the old Trans Am cars being flogged hard, seeing a Gull Wing Mercedes in a four wheel drift.. Seeing vintage race cars from the 20's-30's-40's all the way up to concept cars... It's a great event... Pebble, I've never been cause it's not really my thing but I've got free access & I've been told by quite a few people being on the green before the cars are placed, watching the whole event unfold is very worthwhile...  Since the price is right I'll try it...

I hope it's alright that I post something here even though it's not an e body. But it at least holds the name sake.

Nice car...You should add black R/T stripes and 71 side scoops :2cents:

 :iagree:

Black is by far my favorite color on any car, or truck for that matter.
I polished the crap out of my Black 98 ram quad cab to the point people thought I had re-painted it because it was so smooth.
When they are dirty, they are dirty... but when they are clean they look soooooo good.

I'll be there Cudaragtop. I will keep an eye out for your car. Look for the red 73 with ghost flames.

Sunday 8/17 Mopars Unlimited Sunbust Graham WA
First Place for E Body Convertible.
Not what I was expecting... No other E Body Convertibles entered. Big 2 day show and I expected some tough competition.
Win by default.  :banghead:
Great venue and a lot of nice cars.
Here is Paul (Skunkworks Challenger) and my car back to back. The rest of the E Bodies are on the other side of the trees.
Enjoyed spending some time talking with Paul. Seems we have the same Body/Paint shop in common.
