I got the dash out on Friday night. Saturday I removed and replaced the dash pad, standard gauges and got all the new parts put on the cleaned up dash frame and reinstalled it in the car. Tomorrow I need to hook up all the electrical, vents, and miscellaneous parts, then see what isn't working.

One torsion bar came out easy.

The other one refuses to budge. Tried all types on ideas.
Pipe over with double vice grips clamped over, U bolts in front of them.
Everything is off and loose.
  :banghead:

Gonna buy a Torsion bar removal tool and if that doesn't work, torch the bar off.  :crying:

Did you loosen the LCA?   I've used a plastic hammer before on a stubborn one, used the vibrations from tapping it and constant pressure with my hand pulling backwards and it slowly came out.

Tore the interior out end of summer, acquired all new interior from Dave at Roseville over the winter, got a smoking deal from Challengerx on rallye gauges, visors, harness and a pillar trim......

Dash, carpet and headliner installed the last few nice weekends....

Door panels and seats this weekend weather permitting....

Next will be scrape off cheezy paint, sand and flat black it with epoxy....

Someday after all that, I may just drive the thing   :roflsmiley:

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.
