Went to Lingenfelters cars & coffee with my son Saturday morning. There were a few Vipers and SRT challengers and SRT calibers other than that not many Mopars. It was still a great turnout. There were many exotics, imports, vets and camaros. The place was packed. I got there about 1/2 hour early and still had a hard time finding a place to park.

joe mama, cool shot with the canoes. The colour of the thwarts matches you car. Don't think I want to paddle to far in those boats.

The blacked out grill looks very cool! I think I'm going to do the same to my 73. Is that a custom chin spoiler or the TA style? I can't tell, it's in a shadow. I like it!

Getting ready for paint next week

John - is that black paint on the underside or did you apply one of the rust treatments like POR-15 or Rust Bullet?   I have a couple of rusty spots that need to be treated but I'm debating what to do with the rest of the underside.

Hopefully I'll be at the De Anza Mopar show this Sunday with the Cuda.

Last week-end, I took it out and then the engine started running really shi**y.
All the plugs were fouled and the rear carb was pushing fuel up at the accelerator pump seal.

I suspect dirt or the float hung up?

I still have the rubber shaker seal and detail to do as well.
Saturday will be a long hot day for me.

If it doesn't make it, then it wasn't meant to be I guess.

Got my first "best of show" plastic trophy this afternoon. It was only about maybe 40 cars, but it feels cool. The guy said it was unanimous, whatever that means :bananasmi
Waiting now for my ebay auction to end in the next hour or so. Almost at the reserve price. Getting close.
Maybe I should post a picture of the trophy to put it over the top :roflsmiley:
