After re-wiring the whole car I started trying to diagnose the miss my car has been having.  It all started after the rich spell I went through after finding the regulator putting out 9 psi!! yikes.

Just as I suspected, several of the plugs were fouled... should have quit driving it around.  Anyways, easy fix.  While I was changing the plugs I chunked the 7mm spark plug wires and bought some 8.5mm MSD super conductors and cut them to length and made it look as nice as I could.  NASCAR style zip-ties for wire separators. LOL!

Looks good and the small miss is gone.  Seems to idle much better as well!  Thinking about replacing the mopar ECU and distributor with a MSD that will double spark for even cleaner idle quality with this lopey camshaft.  I don't want an ugly red one though... hmmm wonder if MSD has a black one for 440s... that would be nice and would match my theme.  Not a fan of the red distributors or red/blue a/n fittings everyone always has.

Install the MSD box under the battery, out of sight. You can get a black dist. cap.  What we did as I feel the same way.   :2thumbs:

I got a Saturday off from class and managed to get my 26" Champion Hemi conversion radiator in. Not too many things left to install before I can ship the car for paint!

finally getting through the final legs of a title. taking it to VIN inspection today - crappy crappy weather .... the main rain storm is supposed to hit right around the time of inspection (and sounds like it might be a doosy). but if I don't do it now, I wait another month and have to start some of the process from scratch  :villagers:  so, sucking it up and getting it done. after this I should be good to go and I can finally get started

Peeling off the 418 Hockey Sticks off and putting 340 Sticks back on.
418 was like a novelty but I like the 340 sticks better.

Had the front end aligned by someone who actually knew what they were doing.

He pointed out that I should adjust the slop out of my power steering box.

I took care of that, rotated the tires, greased all the zerk fittings.  And she's good for another year.

Now running and handling better than it ever has.

Dropped mine off at the engine builder to have the oil leak fixed - not enough sealant on the rear oil galley plugs? Picked it up no leak - drove home 30km, parked in my driveway, 10 minutes later puddle underneath again. Guess they get to try again - at least its not me pulling the transmission. Still frustrating though.

I bought the 418 Hockey Sticks from Phoenix Graphics to replace the ones from a party that will remain nameless, looked like they were cut out with scissors & too long.
I bought extra 340 call outs from Phoenix Graphics so I could change the numbers if I decided to go back to 340...
Phoenix Graphics were better but still not quite right to me...
So I bought Performance Car Graphics to replace the the ones from Phoenix Graphics...
:dunno: We'll see.  :clueless: I hope they are better.
Car is going to be photographed for "Randy's Ring and Pinion" Calendar in a couple weeks so I have to quit procrastinating :2thumbs:

You shouldn't have any lack of stripes to choose from...  I was going to put AAR stripes on my car, but right now I am thinking not to, but we will see how the car looks without them.
