Drove the old girl over to New Hamburg (home of the Moparfest) and met him and Doug for coffee at Mickey D's. Saw Murray's new Challenger- very nice and I'm envious- oh well.

I purchased a Hurst Pistol Grip Shifter from Restoration Rick.
When installing the shaft needs to be filed to accommodate the sleeve that holds the pistol grip.
When filing not looking the file f the wood grain vinyl.
My son happened to have one that he didn't need for his Cuda.
This is the procedure I used to strip the wood grain from console plate.
In the installation paper it recommends painting around the edge of the console plate to fill in where the vinyl is to small.

Thanks
I like the look.  You look in the interior and it catches  your eye.

Gunslinger sells a cheaper Hurst shifter but it sits straight up.
Ricks cost a little more.
I like it because it sits higher, nice chrome finish and is at an angle like the original Hurst shifter.

Quote from Blown Motor it won't stop raining. Here in Maryland it rains over the weekends....
Can't take decent pictures in garage.
