Tom, your running a smallblock right? did you have to run your drag lin through the headers?? Thats the only reason im going with TTI, cuz i thought they were the only ones that didnt require that..... but i see you're running Dougs...

Ah just get some custom turbo headers welded up and run downpipe. You'll get some ground clearance! :D lol

Nope, these don't go through.

Seem like a nice header, thick flanges and coated for 475 bucks shipped to my door.

I am in the same boat sorta,I am finishing up the welding on my firewall and cowl so I can get the frt. rails removed and replaced. With any luck I'll have the frt. frame in in about 2 weeks. But I am picking up my new everyday driver today(92 daytona)And will have to tear into that right away(brakes and stuff)Also My son and I went out with the 69 fastback to get a bite to eat last night and pulled a rippin smokey burnout on some newer pavement, small blocks sound great at 6000 rpm.

Going out to the garage in a few minutes and going to evac the A\C to see what leaks. Then I'll know what has to be replaced before I start the teardown.

Goody, tell me more about the Hemi Challenger.

today im installing a new pair of monroe gas shocks.  i figure while i have no trunk floor i might as well do them now.  while i have the shocks out ill get a chance to paint the inside of the shock crossmember with the rust encapsulator.  im hoping to start welding my trunk floors back in by tonight.

right now i just came in the house to grab a can of assembly fluid  and get the wife to come out and hold up one of the new quarter panel skins i got from chucks71 yesterday just so i can dream a little bit.

Looks like I might get it out to tinker on it today.  Only 50* high today, but not much wind and a little bit of sun.   :bigshades:

Seems like a few cars got worked on/ran this weekend, we should try and keep this thread up every week just to see what everyone has been up to!

Just got back from RDF's house, we ended up needing a backing plate for his 8 3/4" so we couldn't do the drums. I did hit a high score of 107mph on the garmin on the way home lol. I'd be in trouble with an overdrive or something less than 3.91!

Seems to me that if The Man catches you, you'll be in plenty of trouble anyway.  :poopoke: :burnout:

But when mine is running, I'll probably find a reason to be out at 02:30 to do the same thing.

i got my ebody weekend work started last night when i took a quick 300 mile round trip over to fj5_440s house to pick up some tires and wheels.  its only supposed to be 270 miles but thats another story  :pullinghair:

todays goal is to finish welding in my trunk pans and depending upon my level of motivation maybe the rh extension too.

it sure would be nice if it could get above 50 degrees around here
