Last weekend I took it to church saturday night to help get ready for Easter.  The alternator bearing sounded a little more dry than normal.  Drove it to church Sunday, sounded pretty bad.   :eek7:

I took the entire thing apart, let the housings sit in acid, they cleaned right up.  Brushes and bearings were ordered and are in today, I have to go get them.  I'm going to change the oil, too.  I didnt change it all last year.   :eek7:

This was the first weekend I really drove it any amount of distance, was fun.   :bananasmi

I hope to get my car up here this week and hope I can start taking it apart and changing out panels soon.  Going to be so cool to get started on it.
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

Finally got my alignment finished! The adjustable UCA's made for a couple trips back and forth, but its all good now. -.7* camber, +4.0 on the caster, life is good.  :2thumbs: And if anyone is in the Sacramento area and needs an alignment I know a good place to go now! Its a Les Schwab, but the manager/alignment guy is very cool and spent the time to not only get things right but get them the way I wanted it too. Send me a PM and I'll send the info.

Now I just need to get rid of the power steering box! That 20:1 gear I bought and my manual housing should make things right, getting really tired of the zero road feedback stock power box.

But the steering box will have to wait, got to see if I can get a tune up done so I can drive the car down to Spring Fling!  ;D Its getting close, but I really want to go!  8)

Well, I got half the spring part done last weekend.  Having trouble finding longer U-bolts round these parts!

Also, I will be getting it smoged so I can drive it legally on the street.  :jumping:

She has been off the road for six years, so I am looking forward to have her raod worthy again.

Finally attempted the front bumper relocation on my 73 Cuda. It wasn't as straight forward on my car as I had hoped. I had to slot and reslot the holes multiples times before I could get the bumper anywhere close to where I wanted it. It's still not tucked in as much as I would like, but as much as this car will allow. Oh well, looks better than it did with the filler piece.

Taking my Challenger to a big Show & Shine at a Dodge dealership here in Albuquerque on Saturday.  Weather looks good and it will be the first chance to show off my toy this year.  :bananasmi

Yes, that's Melloy Dodge on Coors, 11:00am -3:00pm Saturday.  We'll be parked on the grass out front right along Coors.  Looking forward to getting the E-body out and seeing some old friends.

Cool. I went to a show there last year. It had a lot of cool cars and I got to sit in the new Challenger for the first time. I think it was last summer. Maybe I can bring my car up some day. On a positive note, I did trial fit a fender a few days ago lol. I know its not much but its something.
