Going to install the steering box and column this morning so we can move it into the paint booth. Should be in color by the end of the week.

Since I don't have an E body...I'm gonna check out the body work my grandpa did on my Duster, put the new starter in, throw the seats back in and go drive hopefully.

Well...I got the starter out finally...and did a bit of body work help on it. But the drive didn't happen :grinno:

I must be stupid. It's warm. It's Spring and I'm pulling my motor. I hope to have the engine bay painted, new 543 stroker motor in and running by the first part of June maybe the end of May!! The setback was stinking 440 Source recalling my hyd roller lifters. Got my new Comp Cams hyd roller lifters. They are .030" taller than the 440 source. Talked to my engine builder. One turn on my adjustable rockers is about .055". So 1/2 a turn should do it and I'll be OK. No need for new pushrods thank goodness!! Looks like I may have some dyno results in mid May!! :woo:

I am putting in a new fuel pump and a coil, which I broke   :bricks1: installing the pointless ignition. It cracked at the positive side post and the fluid leaked out.
I will also be trying to figure out why it is stalling while shifting.

Well it isnt the weekend yet, but today I did pull my engine and transmission. I managed to crack the windshield trying to take it out. No big deal, since I was going to replace it anyway. Tommorrow I am doing the rear window, gas tank, and steering column. If I have enough time I will do more. Found out today, the previous owner had a fascination with zip ties. :eek7: I bet I cut 100 of them today. He was definitely a butcher.

Well we rolled it out of the booth today into the sun for the first time , attached the door handles and put in the side glass. Tomorrow I'll take care of a couple small details and get ready to bring it home Tuesday.
