Have been trial fitting the fenders and front valance. Spaced out the front valance but he still has a good quart of paint mixed from the original mix. Now its time to take it apart, put on the spash guards and fenders for good. I did put the hood latch support in tonight too. I still have pieces parts to take to the painter. Mirrors, hood inserts, data plate, front valance and a hood hinge. The hinge got blasted but missed the etching primer for some reason so its got surface rust. Gonna blast it again and prime it.

Well we rolled it out of the booth today into the sun for the first time , attached the door handles and put in the side glass. Tomorrow I'll take care of a couple small details and get ready to bring it home Tuesday.
Looking good

I went out to my dads and paid my parts cars a visit. Pulled a set of splash guards off the 71 to use on my car. Guess I am just a cheap bastard cause I dont see how they should be asking that kind of money for pieces of plastic  :eek4:

Put in my new "rt-eng" reconditioned tach. It's hard to see from the picture but from 6500 to 8000 rpm the numbers and marks are a perfect orange. Also put new "Plumbeeper" restored rimblow wheel on.

Waxed it up this morning. I have the oil draining while I do something for lunch. Picked up some Mobil 1 oil filters from wal-mart, they were on clearance for $8 ea ($13 filter). Bought two for my 'Cuda and 2 for my Ranger. I'm debating on clearing them out on the SB oil filter for that price...

Not the weekend but I managed to mount a fender today. Sucks taking it on and off to get it right when its freshly painted   :pullinghair:
I got a tube of seam sealer from a paint store that was 18 bucks. Well worth it. I went ahead and used the old splash guard, those things are expensive  :scared:

I'm fitting a T/A rear spoiler on my buggy! Changing the pinion seal too. Then putting the rear end together .
