I'm hoping to do a minor carb adjust, and take a little more of the interior out... but I've been trying to do this for about six weeks now..... lets see... rain...cold....house... family.... work.... you get the idea!  :faint:

Hopefully sneaking the RT home from across town late at night without incident.
Wish me luck, the cops were out in force last night. :naughty:

This weekend, I am installing a starter relay in the cuda (tired of starting it with a screwdriver), on sunday the gas tank in the Challenger should be cured enough for putting fuel in (sealed it with por15 sealer kit). Will fire it up and see how it runs with the dirty 'ol carb.
Also I am getting the Polara 500 vert back on the road. It runs well but it is bogging when I apply the pedal, could be the other dirty 'ol carb giving me trouble. After running it last night for a while, it was going a little better but still bogging. Today it is running better, still bogging a bit, but maybe running it will work some stuff out. If not, time for a new carb or rebuild :working:

Wife was out so I decided to go for an early afternoon cruise. Went by the car wash to vacuum the Cuda out (too lazy to do it at home) and on to the Sonic Burger joint.

Stripped everything out of the engine compartment and started painting the 318. Replacing water pump while I'm there.

Thinking of removing the intake to properly clean, maybe bead-blast it. The gaskets look a bit squishy, too.

Tip: Dollar General oven cleaner kicks ass over Gunk engine cleaner!

I love the way that car sits. I'm gathering parts to build a 70 Barracuda big block ratrod. I hope to get it to sit like your car.

Repainted the master cylinder after brake fluid tarnished the old paint after I put on a chrome lid.   :pullinghair:

It took two tries, but I got a chrome top I can live with now.   :jumping:
